Level Descriptions
Hatha Yoga: Level 1: For the beginner, or student wishing to review the foundations of a yoga practice. Proper body alignment, breathing and safety are the prime focus. Level 2: For students maintaining regular practice. Dynamics of postures are explored with emphasis placed on precision, proper alignment and stability. Postures are held longer as strength is developed and inverted postures are introduced. Bob’s Core Basics: This class will use an Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga based approach to develop core awareness and work toward a better understanding of the balance between strength and flexibility. No Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga experience is necessary. Students of all levels are welcome. Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Full Primary Series: The full Primary Series is practiced in its entirety. Breath work and linking the poses with the breath to maintain focus and continuous flow is emphasized. Please note: This class does require a working knowledge of the full Primary Series.
